How long is a couples massage session at Healing Hands?

We offer 60-minute and 90-minute couples massage sessions in our private suite. Most first-time couples choose 60 minutes; the 90-minute session gives more time for focused work and a deeper unwind.

Do we share the same room?

Yes. Our couples massage always takes place in a dedicated side-by-side suite so you can share the experience in the same peaceful space. Two therapists work simultaneously, one for each guest.

Can we choose different types of massage?

Yes. One guest can choose Swedish while the other requests deep tissue. Modality and pressure are agreed on with your therapist once you arrive in the room.

Is a couples massage a good choice for a first-time massage?

Yes. Many first-time guests prefer coming in as a pair. Your therapists will walk you through everything and check in on pressure throughout.

How far in advance should we book?

For weekends and evenings we recommend 3–7 days ahead. Weekday afternoons are often available same-day — book online or call 727.222.2928.

Are there any add-ons or enhancements?

Yes — several enhancements can be added when you book through Booker. Add-ons are handled through the booking page rather than listed on the site.

Is there somewhere to rest afterward?

Our spa is intentionally small and peaceful. Guests are welcome to relax on the couch in the reception area for a while after their session.

A couples massage at Healing Hands isn't a scaled-up version of a solo session with a plus-one — it's an experience built from the ground up for two people arriving together. From the moment you walk in, one intake, one set of robes, one warm drink; you're guided to our dedicated couples suite where two therapists are already prepping the room.

Side-by-side tables. Soft, dimmable light. A quiet playlist you can swap out (or replace with silence). Each therapist customizes the session to the person on their table — pressure, focus areas, oil preference. One of you can choose classic Swedish while the other requests deep tissue work on that stubborn shoulder. Everything is discussed and agreed on once you arrive.

Most guests come in for anniversaries, milestone birthdays, or wedding weekends. Just as many book it for a Tuesday afternoon because the week has been long. All of it feels equally welcome here.
